Yearbook Pictures Tomorrow

All band and orchestra students are reminded to wear their black GWMS Music Department polo shirt to school tomorrow (Friday, March 22nd).  We will be taking our pictures for the yearbook.

High Note Festival Information Now Posted!

The first round of information about the Symphonic Band and Symphonic Orchestra's High Note Festival performance is now posted.  This is the same flyer that was handed out today to the students.

7th Grade Band and Orchestra Ordering Respective Book 3's

Both the 7th grade band and 7th grade orrchestra are ready for their next method book.  The flyer with the ordering information is linked on this page.  All money is due by Friday, March 15th!

Congrats on Solo and Ensemble Contest

Congratulations to the students who participated in today's Solo and Ensemble Contest!  Each of you should be proud of the work and effort you displayed during this entire process.  You all should be very proud of yourselves!

Mr. Rauch to Perform with Fox Valley Concert Band

Come see Mr. Rauch perform in the trumpet section of the Fox Valley Concert Band!  The FVCB performs on Sat., Mar. 3rd at 3pm at the Norris Cultural Center in St. Charles.  This is a special performance because the band joins the stage with the Kaneland Middle School Band.  Click here for directions and more information!  By the way, it's free!

ValuCard Fundraiser

It's back!  The GWMS Music Department is once again selling America's ValuCard.  The sale runs through Friday, March 1st.  Earn a half price end of the year trip when you sell 5 cards or earn a free trip when you sell 10 cards!  Good luck!
