LTHS 8th Grade Orchestra Festival

The information about the 8th Grade Orchestra Festival has been posted.  There were errors in the original copy that was given to the students today.  The event is at LTHS South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road.  Also, students may include $7 if they wish to have Ledo's Pizza for lunch that day.  I apologize for the mistake.

Great Series of Concerts!

I would like to pass along congratulations to all of the band and orchestra students on great concerts this spring.  Each concert went very well; the students should feel proud of their work!

Grade School Tours a Success!

The tours to the grade schools last week went really well.  A thank you to the students in the ensembles that traveled to the buildings for your hard work and attention.  Well done!

Tour Information

The 8th grade orchestra, 8th grade band, and 7th grade band will be performing at each of the Lyons 103 grade schools next week.  The information for each group is listed on the side of this page.  Come by and hear us play!

7th and 8th Grade Band Concert

I hope everyone's spring break is going well!  This post is to remind you that the 7th and 8th grade Spring Band Concert is going to be 4 weeks from today on Tuesday, April 29th at 7pm in the GWMS Multipurpose Room.  Please be sure this date is on your calendars!

Collage was a success!

Last night's Lyons District #103 Fine Arts Festival, Collage, was a great success.  All performances were great including the 8th Grade Orchestra and Jazz Band.  The event was a wonderful display of the arts activities going on in our district.  Well done!

Coffee has been delivered!

Thank you to everyone who sold coffee during our fundraiser.  The coffee has been delivered and we will begin passing out to students tomorrow!
