Thank You GWMS Pep Band

A big thank you to the GWMS Pep Band for their performance yesterday at the 2017 March Madness Event.  You sounded amazing!  It was a long afternoon, but your efforts paid off.  And you looked good too!

Solo and Ensemble Contest Results

Congrats to all of the students who participated in the LTHS Solo and Ensemble Contest this morning.  Each of you worked hard preparing your selections and you gave great performances.  You can find your ratings by clicking here.  I will have your medals next week!

March Madness Band Info

The information for the 7th and 8th grade band students has been posted to this page.  I will email this as well as soon as I can (as of Thursday morning our school email is down and has been since about noon yesterday).

Spirit Shirts

We will be getting band/orchestra spirit shirts for the students.  The shirts will be worn by the older students for the High Note Festival, March Madness, Collage, and can be worn on spirit days.  Please send $7 with your student as soon as you can.  Thanks!

Winter Band Concert

The GWMS bands will be performing in about 4 weeks on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30pm in the Multipurpose Room.  Check out the flyer for more info!

Upcoming Orchestra Performances

I hope everyone had a nice Winter Break!  Now that we are back, the orchestras are gearing up for a couple of events in the next couple weeks.  The 7th grade grade orchestra will be performing in the "Rock Philharmonic" Workshop at LTHS on January 24th, that is a festival during the day.  All orchestras will then be performing at the orchestra Winter Concert on Wednesday, Feb. 1st at 6:30pm in the Multipurpose Room.  Check out the fliers for each for more info!

Coffee Ready to be Passed Out

Thank you to the students who sold coffee during our fundraiser.  As a department we set a new record of 292 bags of coffee sold!  Way to go!

The orders have been filled and will be passed out on Tuesday, Dec. 20th during 9th period.

VANILLA CHAI AND MOCHA FRAPPE ARE ON BACKORDER  If you ordered either of these there should be a note attached to your order form as well.  We expect these items the 2nd week of January.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
