Coffee Ready to be Passed Out

Thank you to the students who sold coffee during our fundraiser.  As a department we set a new record of 292 bags of coffee sold!  Way to go!

The orders have been filled and will be passed out on Tuesday, Dec. 20th during 9th period.

VANILLA CHAI AND MOCHA FRAPPE ARE ON BACKORDER  If you ordered either of these there should be a note attached to your order form as well.  We expect these items the 2nd week of January.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Nice Band Concert!

Thank you band students for a very nice concert last night!  Your hard work paid off nicely!

Nice Orchestra Concert!

The orchestra students did a wonderful job at their concert last night.  They all worked hard and the performance reflected that effort.  And thank you parents and families for attending!  It was very nice having a large audience!

Orchestra Concert in 1 Week!

It is here already!  The GWMS Fall Orchestra Concert is next Wednesday!  It will start at 6:30pm in the Multipurpose Room.  See you there!

Well Done at Sounds of the Stadium!

The 7th and 8th grade band did very well at the Sounds of the Stadium concert last night at MWHS!  Good job!!!

It's August!  I'm gearing up for your return in a couple weeks.  I hope you are getting excited to come back to school and band/orchestra!

School Resuming Shortly

Believe it or not, the start of the next school year is only a couple of weeks away!  I am looking forward to seeing all of you when you return on August 15th.  Hopefully you've been practicing, but if you haven't there is still time to open that case and play your instrument!  The more you play over the summer, the better you'll feel as we begin rehearsing.  Everyone needs their instrument at school on Wednesday, August 17th, so please mark that date down!  Speaking of dates, the online calendar on this page has all of the dates for the year, please note these as well. 

I am excited about what this year will bring!  Enjoy the remaining couple of weeks of summer and I'll see you August 15th!

Spring Orchestra Concert

Congratulations to each of the orchestras on a fine Spring Concert!  Each ensemble did very well!

Solo and Ensemble Contest at LTHS

Congrats to our students who performed at the LTHS Solo and Ensemble Contest this past Saturday. Every student performed very well.  Judge's comment sheets and medals are being passed out today, where them with pride!
